Summary:
Launched in summer 2020, the Met Stars Live in Concert series continued into the winter, giving the Met a perfect opportunity to celebrate the holidays with a program of classic carols and traditional songs. Headlining the festivities was Bryn Terfel, who joined some of his closest musical friends live from Brecon Cathedral in his native Wales. In addition to the beloved bass-baritone, the starry lineup of performers featured soprano Natalya Romaniw, tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths, the Welsh folk group Calan, pianist Jeff Howard, and Terfel's wife, harpist Hannah Stone. Together, they offered viewers around the globe a heartwarming and joyous performance--perfect viewing not only during the Yuletide season but for every day of the year.
