Summary:
Ali is currently visiting a substance treatment facility after being mandated by her employer. She repeatedly minimizes, excuses and denies any problem with her current alcohol consumption and her problems at work. Ali only claims to drink one day a week and no more than a few drinks during that period. She appears resistant, bordering on bored, with the assessments and is not forthcoming with answers. Ali further insists that problems at work have created additional stress in her life but those stressors are shared with her other teachers and colleagues. She blames the current problem with her employee on a school holiday party in which alcohol was served. Personally, Ali describes a recent breakup in a long-term relationship but again minimizes its impact.
