Summary:
Arnie describes numerous obsessive thoughts and compulsions that could be considered normal for his line of work as a chef. At work, Arnie checks and rechecks the order of his cooking station at the end of the night. Sometimes, however, Arnie will be driving home when he has to turn around to re-check certain parts of his routine, such as to make sure the stove is turned off. Arnie often worries about food contamination out of concern for the liability with customers at his restaurant and developed a system in order to know where all of his cooking utensils, spices, and other foods will be. Arnie also prefers to be prepared for earthquakes or any other unspecified disaster.
