- A young man describes falling off a ladder, injuring his spine and taking oxycodone for pain. He reports the medication relieves pain and helps him to sleep well. He compliments the interviewer, reporting that past physicians did not understand and were not helpful. He reports other therapies did not help and he does not want to take alternate medications. He denies side effects and becomes defensive when questions about possible medication misuse are asked. He becomes irritated and abandons the interview.
