Summary:
Through assessing Greg's current and past substance use, we learn that he currently smokes marijuana two to three times daily. On a typical day, Greg describes being buzzed for approximately six hours but claims he never gets stoned. Greg rarely goes without using cannabis, which he says provides him relief from stress. On days of considerable stressful, Greg will smoke an additional time during his lunch. When in pain, Greg will smoke enough to feel buzzed for the entire day. Greg doesn't feel that he is impaired by his smoking, only "relaxed." Greg appears to put considerable thought into both the acquiring and the scheduling of his cannabis. Additionally to smoking, Greg will use a distilled cannabis tincture when he's in pain and consume edibles for recreational use. When questioned about his impairment, Greg admits that he will occasionally be forgetful or negligent at home or work but views his marijuana use as mainly preventive in anticipation of stress. Greg admits he also smoked marijuana before this interview. Greg believes he is impaired by marijuana only when he uses any form of concentrated cannabis product.
