Summary:
2/13/1995: Mohammad Wakil, leader of Manganhar band. Band played several examples, the naqqara player, then played mogholman drum and danced. 2/15/1995: musicians seranade the sajjada nishin (Sakhi Qabul Mohammed) in his couryard and during the Taj ceremony, turban tying ceremony . Later, walked with the crowd to shrine grounds. Paying respect to his ancestors. Music around the shrine complex. 2/17/1995: Formal concert in the home of Makdoom Ghous Mohammad Gohar, patron of traditional Sindhi music. Later that evening, arrived at Sehwan Sharif and saw qalandars dancing at a Sufi lodge. Short clip before I ran out of tape.
