Summary:
This is a manuscript portion of a Psalter, written on parchment; surviving text begins with the preserved inner margin of f.1r, והפר כעסך עמנו (Psalms LXXXV:5) until הטה יהוה אזנך ענני כי יחיד ו[עני אני] (LXXXVI:1); the following [damaged text] ... [כי חסיד] אני הושע עבדך (verse 2) until אודך יהוה (verse 12; f1v); text continues on the following folio until אוהב יהוה שער[י ציון] (LXXXVII:2; f. 2r) until [מכל משכ]נות יעקב until the bottom of f. 2v, [מחלת] לענות משכיל (LXXXVIII:1), continuing the text on f. 3r until עיני ד[א]וה מ[ני עוני] (verse 10), continuing with [הי]ום שתחטי אליך כפי (ibid.) until ס[בוני] כמים (verse 18; f. 3v); and the fourth fragmentary leaf survives only at the inner margin, and shows text from the later verses of LXXXIX (indicating that the inner bifolium is missing). The outer corners are damaged and are brittle; the amount of damaged text indicates that the original codex was oblong.
