In 2022, when the 20th anniversary of the Tomie Ohtake Institute is also celebrated, we present this edition that brings together a selection of iconic works from the career of artist Tomie Ohtake, many of them published for the first time. We take the opportunity to revisit texts by important critics who followed her trajectory. The initiative also has a new generation of critics who cast other eyes on its production. Organized by Paulo Miyada and Priscyla Gomes, this book also represents a contribution by collaborating with critics and revealing new narratives, especially of women in the arts, who do not always have adequate approaches to their processes, their issues and their work.
