Hitting the eye of the cyclops. Remanufacturing and other ways of activating our clothing practices is an invitation to all designers, garment makers, businesswomen, students, users, activists, and practitioners in the clothing industry to address the valorization of discarded garments, using remanufacturing as a way of reuse. This publication is made up of three parts: in the first two, the work of participatory upcycling is explored, carried out by the author Lucía López Rodríguez in Proyecto CasaMario, through the Estampa Crítica #TEXTOURGENTE workshop, a project that investigates remanufacturing as a means of collaboration , transdisciplinary production and criticism of the modes of production and consumption of the current fashion system.
