- Summary:
- Established by the Office of Public Information, Bacone College Smoke Signals was first published in the summer of 1974 and would continue to publish quarterly until 1994, running concurrently with The Baconian. The content of the sister publications was often similar, focussing primarily on staff, students and school news, but Smoke Signals favoured a lengthier format. The quarterly issues highlight numerous school events, providing a useful history of the college, and the issues were dotted with photographs and advertisements. After a brief gap between 1989 and 1991, the title would continue until publication ceased in 1994.
