Released monthly, the newsletter was intended to share information about the agencies' activities, and thus focussed primarily on education. Articles on scholarships, recruitment and educational trends were common amongst the pages of The Medicine Bundle. Other contemporary topics relating to American Indian communities were also included, such as federal legislation, legal status, the penal system and the teaching of Indigenous heritage. The newsletter ceased publication in 1983.
