Summary:
A compelling story of 32 designers in the Textile and Fashion Design Program at University of Wisconsin-Madison. The film showcases the work of these talented students and shares with us their thoughts of continuing to create and learn during the shut down of the Coronavirus pandemic. The video clips and images used were created by students within the protocols of social distancing. This design and fashion film features creative works by 32 students in the Textile and Fashion Design program. This year's ground-breaking virtual student collaboration includes original music by Abigail Arkley and Deryk Gonzalez of UW's '18-19 The Studio cohort and knowsthetime. Headlines and history; colors and textures; intellectual explorations and lived experiences all spark our imagination. Through music, movement and narrative, React will explore the ways we, as designers and students, respond to the world around us. .
