The virstuoso and subtle touch of Martin Helmchen allows him to leap naturally from Bach to Liszt. Martin Helmchen is just thirty years old and his maturity is striking. His touch shows no sign of ostentatious demonstration, on the contrary, it is a if he wanted the audience to forget about the difficulty of the scores he plays. He won numerous awards: two Echo Klassik, first prize in the Clara Haskil International Competition and the Credit Suisse Group Young Artists Award, among others.
