Sean Jones and Sean Rickman (a regular of Steve Coleman's ensembles), complete the picture in a program that features the greatest works of the jazz master. A surprise guest makes an appearance to end this concert in fireworks ! Miller was a regular of Davis's band all along the eighties, his composing, playing, and producing work on Davis's Tutu album has solidified his space in the pantheon of jazz, while Shorter and Hancock both partnered the illustrious trumpeter during the sixties and seventies, featuring in his first "electric" albums...
