Summary:
A discovery: a rich harvest of young pianists. René Martin, the artistic director of the "International Festival of La Roque-d'Anthéron" has always sought to produce young artists before an audience of connoisseurs. He has discovered and launched the careers of many. In his collection of the "Pianos of the Night" of La Roque d'Anthéron, he places new talent among already-confirmed talents, the pianos of the future. Filmed in public in 2004, Iddo Bar-Shaï, Bertrand Chamayou, Lise de la Salle, David Fray, Jean-Frédéric Neuburger and Severin Von Eckardstein were set on proving that tomorrow is here today. Highly accomplished, they all show extreme concentration with a touch of elegance in Iddo Bar-Shaï, of maturity in Bertrand Chamayou, of naturalness in Severin Eckardstein, of facility in Lise de la Salle, of tension in David Fray and of rigor in Jean-Frédéric Neuburger. Watch very closely!
