Summary:
A selection of photographs taken by the author during his stay in New York, the artist proposes a particular way to convey that feeling of modernity that gave him "The Big Apple" and its diversity and, at the same time, constitute a record or personal archive of one of the most important experiences he has lived. "Travelogue, is an English word that refers to a film, book or paper that describes the experiences of a traveler. That's why while doing a PhD in New York, I dedicated myself to taking photographs to make a personal and private record of my trip. The idea of making a publication came later, seeing the amount of photographs I had and the urgency to do something with that material," said the author. Many of the images were taken in the first instance with a tourist camera and then with an iPhone of "images taken during my countless visits to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the MoMA and art fairs such as the Armory Show, as well as photos of everyday objects, shopping mall displays, people I met and people I saw on the street."
