- Summary:
- The present exhibition organized in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence 1810-1822 and examines the use of the word and image in the battle for American Independence. One of the main achievements of Independence put into circulation was a set of ideas and language that the possibility of a different social order in imagery and word. With Independence there was a shift from loyalty to the king to Independence, it was necessary to define who and how to govern, to produce a new legitimacy and thus a different language and imagery with which one could say and understand the new political order.
