- Summary:
- A slow-witted but strong slaughterhouse worker who is hired by a slumlord to break a tenant strike accidentally kills one of the strike leaders. He is then drawn into a doomed affair with the landlord's wife.
- A man is hired by a landlord to intimidate unwanted tenants, but ends up seducing the daughter of one of them, much to the annoyance of the landlord's wife, with whom he's also having an affair.
