Summary:
Small town attorney, Lynn Hollister (John Wayne) investigates the supposed suicide of his childhood friend in the big city. He sets out to prove that an above-the-law politician (Edward Ellis) is actually crooked, but the price of integrity is sweet this instance, since Lynn happens to be in love with the politician's beautiful daughter (Francis Dee).
