- Summary:
- The image of the contemporary city, which works with underground infrastructures, does not integrate an essential element to guarantee its survival: water. While through the centuries entire cities were designed based on water management, today we settle for opening a faucet and watching it run without knowing the mechanisms that are needed for this to happen, which implies an obvious rupture between inhabitants, city and water. This book proposes a series of alternatives that propose a new vision for water spaces, making evident their presence or absence in an effort to align urban dynamics and water viability.
