- La pedagogía se encuentra en una crisis de identidad en el marco de la caída del proyecto pedagógico de la modernidad. En este sentido, proponemos un conjunto de nociones que nombramos como metapedagogía y que podrían ser consideradas como tentativa de reconstruir teoría, como autorreflexión, como reflexión sobre nosotros mismos, pedagogos, que posibilite rectificar lo que hasta ahora ha sido considerado como de otras áreas o disciplinas, proyectando hacia afuera problemas de la educación, que en realidad son propios de la pedagogía y de sus autores.Procuramos un aporte para descifrar aquella escena "otra", donde se juegan las proyecciones imaginarias y simbólicas, en la lucha por la construcción de la especificación como una de las principales batallas de la pedagogía y, que es también, la lucha por la construcción de la autonomía de los sujetos y las instituciones.Esto implica poner en marcha proyectos de crecimientos, que en ciertas condiciones, movilizan también pulsiones destructivas y autodestructivas, produciendo reacciones negativas, inversas, opuestas, tendientes a boicotear ese crecimiento. Es un proceso contradictorio, que es necesario interpretar.La lucha por el reconocimiento, los sentimientos de desvalorización y autodesvalorización, de culpa, miedo, fragilidad, desamparo, vulnerabilidad e incertidumbre, objetos y sujetos que se vuelven "ajenos y amenazantes", son analizados como parte del crecimiento.
