Summary:
In the Russia of Czar Nicholas II, a respectable married woman and mother, Anna Karenina, falls in love with a dashing army officer, Count Vronsky, for whom she gives up everything, only to be cast aside. The ending of the American cut of this film differs from the ending of the European cut, and this disc contains only the American version.
