- Summary:
- Disruption is a testimony provided by eight photographers (Félix Márquez, Koral Carballo, Luis Antonio Rojas, Mauricio Palos, Omar Martínez, Selene Ugalde, Stephania Corpi and Yael Martínez) who documented the reality of distance education during the first year of the pandemic in Mexico, narrated through the common struggles of students, parents and teachers. Each photographer portrayed the reality of a student from their region; the work ranges from a 17-year-old teenager who lives without electricity in Veracruz, to a 7-year-old girl who faces the city and the loneliness, from her department of Polanco in Mexico City. Quinto Elemento Lab is an independent, non-profit organization, that makes investigative reports that help to build a more just and transparent society. Trasluz Photo is a Collective, platform and cooperative of photographers from the State of Veracruz.
