The dynamic scene of Brazilian design has a highlight in evidence in recent years: the self-production in wood of designers who develop and produce their creations in their own workshops. The book intimately approaches the work of Ricardo Graham Ferreira, one of the exponents of this generation, through a set of records and testimonies of people who are part of his life. More than guiding chronologically or by technique, the intention is to let the gaze get lost, discover what attracts, thrills. For this reason, it was fundamental that each piece be presented in its creation context - the workshop, so that the narrative extends between work and surroundings; between inspiration and result. A reflection of the symbiosis between body and raw material, the conjunction of lives and distinct cycles in an object that lasts. Bilingual publishing is a partnership of Precious Woods, a Swiss timber company whose operation in the Amazon is a reference of sustainable management.
