- Summary:
- "In the staple-bound Colors (arranged), Gloria Glitzer and Frédérique Rusch seem to continue Josef Albers' exploration of chromatic interaction and patterning in the realm of photographed three-dimensional arrangements. In these (of course) full-color compositions, a perceptive tension plays out between the natural shading of the positioned paper objects and the resultant images' tendency towards flat color. The presentations' symmetry across every double-spread also makes for an unexpected engaging reading experience, as with each flip of the page, one leans in, almost involuntarily, to peer at the separation of an image into its altered reflection"--Printed Matter's website, viewed May 15, 2023. https://www.printedmatter.org/catalog/48928/
