- Summary:
- As a young boy, Dave Carson sees his family killed by Indians, but he, himself, manages to escape. His black colt Rex, also escapes, but grows in the wild with an intense hatred for all Indians. Years later, a new terror sweeps the Indian Tribes. The supernatural fear of a Devil Horse--a black scourge with killing hoofs. Eventually the devil horse and Dave (now grown and an Army scout) are reunited. Together they help stop a bloody Indian uprising.
