Ensamble Studio was founded in 2000 and is led by architects Antón García-Abril and Débora Mesa. Their practice is rooted in a fascination with the fact that architecture comes from the Earth. For thousands of years, with the extraction of metals, minerals, fibres, and soil, the process was relatively simple. Today's emerging technologies are changing this.
