Biography/History:
Christopher Hatton succeeded his father as second Baron Hatton and governor of Guernsey in 1670.
Summary:
Two autograph letters, signed, addressed 'My Lord', relating to local politics including appointments, the Act of Settlement (possibly the Poor Relief Act of 1662), and papists, dated 5 and 21 August, probably in the 1660s.
