Summary:

A memorial book for the town of Siret, which was in Bukovina. Under Romanian rule, the Jews of Siret were deported to southern Romania in summer 1941 and then to Transnistria in October. Pp. 117-271 and 307-330 contain brief testimonies by Jewish former residents of Siret, describing their experiences during the deportations and in ghettos in Transnistria. Pp. 274-280 contain a list of names of Jews from Siret who perished in Transnistria.
