A memorial book for the Jewish community of Calarasi in Moldova, containing essays by former residents. Pp. 307-403 in Hebrew and 453-478 in Yiddish discuss a pogrom in 1905, anti-Jewish incidents in the interwar period, and the fate of the community in the Holocaust. Many of the Jews fled after the Nazi occupation in June 1941; those who remained behind were murdered by the Nazis.
