- Biography/History:
- Dr. Daniel F. McCleary is an associate professor at Stephen F. Austin State University. He is the training director of the M.A. school psychology program within the Department of Human Services and Educational Leadership, where he has been teaching ethics since 2014. Dr. McCleary has been published in peer-reviewed international and national journals. Prior to working in academia, he served as a school psychologist in public schools and as a psychologist in private practice. Dr. Jillian Dawes is an assistant professor at The Citadel, where she teaches students in psychology graduate and undergraduate programs. Dr. Dawes includes instruction on ethics and decision-making activities across psychology courses, notably focusing on informed consent and assent, research ethics, and direct service provision. Dr. Dawes' research, training, and practice interests focus on efficient learning and behavior change using a problem-solving model.
