- Al Khanif is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law and the Director of the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism and Migration (CHRM2) at the University of Jember, Indonesia. Khoo Ying Hooi is a university lecturer at the Department of International and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
