George to his mother Lady Arden. They have been on an uneventful cruise to Leghorn and the Gulf of Genoa. They encountered a French boat at Port Espiegle, but their tackle broke before they could launch a boat attack. They have met up with the main fleet and are about to have a sale of all the goods they have impounded. Dated HM SHIP TIGRE, 14 June 1809.
