- Log of the bark DOVE kept by an unidentified person in narrative format from August 1849 to March 1851 (with gaps), while on a whaling voyage from New London, Connecticut to the Indian Ocean. The log ends abruptly at sea 6 March 1851; the ship later arrived home on 6 November 1851. The ship was mastered by E.R. Forseth.
