Journal giving an account of the voyage of a new paddle steamer named CZAREVICH from London to the River Volga by way of the Baltic Sea and one of the canal routes linking the Baltic with the Volga. The entries cover the period 2 July 1860 to 28 September 1860. Moberly describes how the vessel was divided into three sections to negotiate the locks.
