Summary:
Three logs of the ship SARAH kept by her commander, John Erving, on voyages from Boston to Amsterdam (8 May-20 October 1727) and London (13 December 1729-12 May 1730 and 8 July-18 November 1730), all three including the return voyages to Boston. The logs contain records of winds, courses, navigation, and the like, with very little narrative description. The ship was apparently a merchant vessel which carried some passengers as well. harbour log while moving down the Thames River to the English Channel.
