- Papers of Revolutionary War soldier, surveyor, and Massachusetts state legislator Park Holland and his family. A typescript copy of Holland's reminiscences describes his service during Burgoyne's invasion and other campaigns, his part in the suppression of Shays' Rebellion, and details of surveying expeditions in Maine, including commentary on relations with Indians. The diary of Charles T. Holland, kept from 12 February - 13 September 1849, describes a voyage from Frankfort, Maine to San Francisco, with commentary on the weather, sea animals, and a description of an attack by pirates off the Atlantic coast of South America. Also, scattered deeds, letters, and misc. papers.
