- Logbook kept by J Wiley on board the ship MORRISON, James S Copp, master, for part of a voyage from Canton to New York, engaged in the east India trade. Entries begin 48 days out and continue until the Morrison is off Sandy Hook, New York. During the voyage John Williams is disciplined for sleeping on watch and Chandler Giles dies after an extended illness and is buried at sea. Volume also contains several taped-in ink illustrations of fish and Chinese junks.
