Summary:

"This CD is a live performance of a series of four concerts given in the Sixth Region of Chile in four important churches, three of which are in rural areas, in order to make it possible for school children and the general public to attend, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to go to concerts. Personally, I would like to thank the performers Don Santiago Varas, who, neither having studied nor being able to read music, masterly interpreted the Romances Espanoles and the Chilean music, and Salvador Perez, who gives the guitar its most brilliant and moving expression and who is one of the most genuine representatives of folklore feeling in music. I dedicate this CD to them both and to all the poets and singers to whom I owe my deepest respect and admiration."
