Summary:
The World Health Organization declared a global pandemic as the coronavirus rapidly spreads across the world. As of March 6, 2020, the global death toll from the coronavirus pandemic has topped 70,000. In light of the emergence and spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) across the world, Information Discovery and Delivery is issuing a call for papers that address the spread of this disease from the data and information science perspective. We are particularly interested in papers that explore how to track, model, understand and predict the spread of COVID-19 through various data science and visualization methods. The goal is to provide a platform for sharing timely research that can be used to help societies address this unprecedented challenge.
