- Summary:
- Part of a new series on art/photography of young artists, illustrators, photographers in the State of Mexico. The photographs gathered in this book show a Toluca as we have rarely seen it: from its unique daily life in different perspectives at ground level, to spectacular panoramic views captured in the air thanks to the new drone technology. This is how the explorer from Toluca Carlos Escutia presents his Cartographies. Photographic layout of Toluca, fifty photographic prints inspired by the work of scientific observation bequeathed to us more than two centuries ago by the mythical visitor Alexander von Humboldt. Carlos travels on foot and by bicycle through neighborhoods, neighborhoods and delegations, managing to draw new maps, through his electronic devices, through which he manages to resignify the vision we have about the capital city of the State of Mexico.
