Summary:
This conference was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Khalil Akhmedovich Rakhmatullin, and it was supposed to be held in 2020. Due to the pandemic, it was postponed to 2021. The main purpose of the conference was to discuss scientific achievements in the field of applied mechanics, identify promising areas for further research and issues of implementing research results in practice and in higher education, to establish close scientific ties between scientists from different countries and the republi, and to attract talented youth to conduct scientific work. Based on the results of the received lectures, the following main issues were discussed at the conference: - applied questions of deformable solid mechanics; - applied questions of fluid and gas mechanics; - applied questions of soil and rock mechanics; and - modern computational methods for calculating elements of engineering structures.
