Summary:

Shows the employment of handicapped people by the Shut-In's Day Association, a branch of United Charities. Portrays representatives of the Pennsylvania Society for Crippled Children instructing a small girl in walking down stairs with orthopedic braces. Shows children with crutches and other devices leaving for summer camp. Also depicts an adult being trained to maneuver the subway turnstile. Depicts the treatment of orthopedic cases at the Homewood School. Portrays crippled children playing and eating.
