- Emphasis is on the Penn Athletic Club rowing team. Shows the crew in training and at regattas. Depicts members fishing for tuna near Beach Haven, N.J., playing cards, and at an auction. Portrays swimmers. Includes views of the swimming pool after its conversion to offices for the Securities Exchange Commission. Contains a portrait of club officials. Shows exterior views of quarters at 18th and Locust, including views of the Harrison Mansion and Rittenhouse Square. Groundbreaking ceremonies are also depicted. Portrays striking workers picketing in front of the club.
