- Contains exterior views of historic residences in Philadelphia, highlighting Germantown locations. Germantown sites include Cliveden, the Billmeyer House, the Keyser House, Loudoun, the Morris House, Vernon House, and the Wistar House. Center City homes illustrated are the Ashland House and Rittenhouse Residence (both at 7th and Arch), the Alcott House (as a lunch room), the McFaden Residence, the Paul Residence, the Physick Mansion, and the Wistar Mansion. Shows the Garden at the Powell House with a view of a garden party. Other exteriors depicted are Cedar Grove, the Hatfield House, and Livezey (all in Fairmont Park), and Stenton. Contains a view of the Barton Residence at Broad and South Streets. Also contains graphic illustrations of various sites used as the president's mansion.
