Summary:
Documents work performed at the Army Quartermasters Depot in Philadelphia. Most images document employees sewing uniforms and flags and inspecting musical instruments. Includes views of laboratory experimentation, the manufacture of clothing and flags, inspection tours, and baling goods for distribution. Many items portray women at work at the depot as seamstresses, guards, and mechanics. Depicts workers at the employee canteen, during lunchtime entertainment, participating in parades, and attending war bond rallies. Contains views of servicemen marching during reviews, officers' graduation, and the baseball team. Also shown are guard dogs at the New Cumberland Depot.
