Summary:
Highlights the conversion of League Island from a marshy dump site into a golf course. Shows the completed course, landscaping and lawn care, and golfing. Views depict the Naval Hospital andjacent to the course, and patients playing golf. Documents the controversy over opening the course to the general public. Includes views of officials stocking the pond for Naval Hospital patients to fish. Also depicts swimming in the lake.
