- Documents youth program in the neighborgood of Elmwood where juveniles were organized into a drum and bugle corps. Includes one view of dwellings. Illustrates activities at the Crime Prevention Association at 117 Pine Street in Philadelphia. Shows boys playing baseball, handball, and billiards as well as boxing, wrestling and performing gymnastics. Includes a view of a match stick house built by one of the boys. Shows children at the Nicetown Boys Club. Portrays children at lunch hour and during shoe repair class. Depicts Nicetown baseball team, and pet show entries. Shows boys from the Northeast Boys' Club of Philadelphia playing several sports. Also shows the club memers with animals, during a little sister contest, and in a parade. West Light Boys' Club images depict boxing, a patrolman giving a lecture on safety, and marching in a parade.
