- Summary:
- Most images illustrate Philadelphia's payroll system for city employees. Shows employees at payday, issuing checks, and office machines used to tabulate payroll. Portrays labor meeting at Turners Hall of the Municipal Employees Union as well as the meeting between union officials and the mayor. Includes documentation of employee macing.
