Summary:
Documetns activities of football teams at the University of Pennsylvania. Contains many action photographs of games played at Franklin field with emphasis on games against Cornell, the Army, and the Navy. Many images focus on the crowds of spectators. Portrays Penn's football players in formal groups, and as they eat and relax as part of training. Depicts training sessions and practices, blackboard sessions with the coach, and calisthenics. Includes views of bench warmers and waterboys. Show fraternity banners supporting the team and a school rally. Highlights pre-game and half- time drills during the Navy game as well as views of cadets marching through Philadelphia and spectators watching the game in the rain. Also shows action shots, drills and spectators at Cornell games and Army games.
